Frozen Blueberry Margaritas!


For those of you who may not know it: it's berry season right now!! With that in mind, I just have to share this delicious cocktail that my sister contributed to my cookbook. It's wondermous!


Frozen Blueberry Margaritas

Lime (cut in to small wedges)
Salt or sugar (for rims)
3 C ice
2/3 C Tequila
2 C blueberries
1 6 oz. can frozen limeade concentrate
¼ C powdered sugar
¼ C orange liqueur (e.g. Blue Curacao, Triple Sec or Cointreau)

Rub rims of glasses with a lime wedge, and dip in salt or sugar to coat. Process the remaining ingredients in a blender until smooth. Serve immediately or place the container in the freezer for 30 minutes. Serve in prepared glasses.
Makes about 5 ½ cups.
